The conundrum of allocating your vote

    Hi all,
I do not have a vote today as I am one of the emigrant classes not deemed worthy. As I ponder on what will occur today, I ask myself:
Does it REALLY matter whether one votes for labour, fine Gael , sinn fein or independents. I mean, given the country's woes, will the elected government's decisions make a difference between sovereign default or not. Is where Ireland is going so inevitable that it does not matter who leads us?
Last election, I could not believe FF got in. This time, I don't believe it matters, so why not vote for the nutter left or nutter right as we know that the sensible middle right or sensible middle left has absolutely failed us? Is it worthwhile putting the nutters in control as they probably cannot do any worse than the efforts of the sane people in the last 15 years.

So I propose that a vote for nutters is a vote for change is a vote for something that might work????.

Happy voting, everyone. Make it count.

Lastly, for what it is worth, if you are thinking of voting for FF today, take a long hard look at yourself before you do. Please!

The PD's were the nutter right and they're gone. SF are the nutter left. FF and FG are actually more similar than either care to admit. Labour is left of centre on it's won.

Will any of them stop us defaulting. No chance. It's really just a matter of when we do what is done with fiscal policy to recover. FG would like to cut expenditure mainly. Labour would like to increase taxes mainly. You make your choice here really.

The people who vote for FF, don't generally contribute here. They are a much older staunch voter who'll vote with them till the day they die. On the plus side, that's only a few years away.
