Tidying up UPC cabling?

    i want to tidy up all my cabling its bothering me a little

    anyway, when ntl installed my BB they used an obscene amount of cable even tho the TV is right at the point.

    has anyone had a go at shortening this? if so what tools would i need and is it tricky?

    i used cables ties to tidy the cable up just in case i may need to move the BB
