although it makes amazing coffe the wife is finding the Gaggia classic delux a bit too complicated so.....

im looking to go simple and buy a magimix Nespresso machine, preferably a lecube or a CitiZ.

Im wondering if anyone knows where to buy at a good price or any offers that are out there?
or even interested in a swop for the gaggia.

I bought the entry level 'manual' Nespresso in the Home & Cook shop in Kildare Village. It's usually €99, but I got it in the sale for €75, incl a €30 coffee rebate. TBH, not sure why you’d want an 'automatic' - the only difference is that you press the button to start and the same button to stop. The automatic stops on its own. But I have all different sized cups, so it suits me perfectly. I wanted a small one, and this was also the smallest I could find.

BTW if you have an AA membership - go to the office and they'll give you a card for 10% off which you can use against the Nespresso machine.

Magimix have the same entry level machine - I wasn't too pushed on the shape of it tbh! I have a feeling Home & Cook only sell Krups though...

    Hi Folks,

Any idea as to where to get a good cappacino/latte make with the frother of course. I buy to many of these out and about and would much prefare to make my own at home to hopefully save money in the long run. It doesn't have to be anything to fancy. Just something that makes one cup at a time is reliable and affordable

well i just bought a magimix Citiz M190 Nespresso machine with the frother. its not cheap at 247e and the capsules are 36-42c each. it makes dumproof cappaccinos and lattes as good as what u get out there in general. in a couple of minutes with minimum hassle.
i was going to not get the frother to save a little but after getting it, im so glad i did.

Actually tbh all I would need to get would be a milk frother. I could just boil and make the coffee myself and then add the creamy milk froth on top so any suggestions as to where I could get a top quality one would be appreciated. Cheers
