    A bit, but I like the idea of OUR cricket team doing well, even playing and beating England - wouldn't that be hilarious!!!
    They really have made a huge improvement over the last 5 or so years and if they can continue the same way, they will have a very experienced and capable team in a short few years!
    Apparently their hand eye co-ordination has been aided by years of smacking a sliotar against a wall;)

    I hear ya. Us Irish still go on about Italia 90 but this was a far bigger achievement albeit a less popular sport. Our record over the 2007 and 2011 world cups for amateur, semi pro and just about pro players is outstanding! Something tells me the cricket clubs will have no shortage of new names on the list in the coming years tho.
