Fine Gael will probably be in power and hopefully they'll keep their promise with the jobs

"Fine Gael will invest in new energy, water and telecoms infrastructure and generate thousands of new jobs. And we will invest an extra €7bn over the next 4 years to build essential new infrastructure in broadband, green energy and water networks."

Im interested in the Green Energy area. Iv always had an interest in that area but im not sure what kind of jobs are available in that area. Can someone give me an idea what might be involved in getting in to this area and what College courses would be handy

The Renewable Energy section would interest me alot

Not able to give you much of an answer but i've been trying to find information on this for a while now but with very little success. Given the whole buzz around renewables for the past few years I would have thought there would be a good range of degrees/courses/diplomas out there.
Tried signing up to a course last year but the guys giving it (only a 2 day course) were looking for frightening amounts of money.
Have heard Electrical Engineers are in demand in this sector but it's just hearsay. Hope someone can help with a decent answer.
