    Help!!

I was told last week in work that it's curtains for me at the end of march after five years, the last one being on a three day week since last summer. Now I've been told I'll get the statutory redundancy.

This week I've been offered two extra months of five day work, but in the spirit of glorious exploitation, do this for the same amount of money I'm currently getting for the 3 day.

I'd be willing to do it as it puts off the inevitable for another while but for the following

    A. Creche fees for the two days add over 400 to the monthly budget

    B. I am receiving jobseekers benefit and I wouldn't like to be signing on when I'm in there everyday so that's another 400 down

A&B combined but us below the our monthly income and as a result of the cumalative cuts over the past two years, we have nothing in saving

So the question, can I refuse the proposal and just take the redundancy or could I be caught out if I refuse?

I have to be realistic and yes I'd like to stay on but I've been told there is no more money. I don't want to piss about with the social as I may be depending on it shortly.

    Any advice would be great.
