    just wondering if anyone has any experience with bikeIT.ie , I just recently bought a bike in Limerick, but my friend is now looking at buying, and has come across www.BikeIT.ie. They are a good bit cheaper, but don't give any contact details that I can find other than email. Also they sell Trek bikes, and I was sure I read somewhere that Trek dont sell online, or don't allow resellers who operate online as they want the bike set up correctly by the shop before the customer rides away. If it is legit, it seems a good deal

    possibly the same guy. This Raleigh2work website seems more professional though don't you think. BikeIT.ie just seems to be missing something. Has anyone any experience buying from them?

    I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole! No address, phone number or e-mail address that I can see? And as the OP says Trek will not allow retailers to supply bikes online but only "instore"! At best it's a very unprofessional operation that sourcing bikes from an unofficial source!

    Wheelworx sell Trek online.

    Don't know about that but if they do ... they shouldn't!!

    From the Trek site;
    An important note about our dealers:

    Trek Bicycle Corporation does not authorize our retailers to sell new or used Trek product over the Internet or by mail order. Delivery should only be made to you at an authorized Trek retail location. This is for your safety. We want to make sure that your bicycle is properly assembled, properly adjusted, and is the right size for you. We also want to make sure that you receive your owner's manual and consumer literature. Your Dealer will also explain how to properly use your bike and answer any questions or concerns you might have.
