FS: Lapierre RCR100

ok lads. selling it as I've no use for it and am leaving the country in a few months anyway. Its in perfect nick. Serviced a few weeks ago after being off the road for a year and was hardly used for the 6 months before that. Bought about this time 09. And only really got used for about 6 months. There is a brand new chain and block on it... Will throw in the wireless speedo, lock and lights for free. there is a bit of rust on the face of some of the bolts but its just superficial, bike runs as new.
living in Galway but would meet anywhere along the Galway - Dublin train route and in dublin CC.

Ill throw up pics tomorrow or saturday. Laptop is kaput right now.


300 asking price but will listen to sensible offers.

I really cannot stress enough what a fantastic cruiser this is.

I'm 5'9 and its a perfect fit for me...

Would suit anyone between 5'8 ish and pushing 6'0 I'd imagine.

230 is too low. I just spent 90 between the new chain, block, fitting and service. I'd practically be giving it away at that price.


Until I can get pics up... For anyone who doesn't know what the bike looks like, google Lapierre RCR 100 and its on the first link on the Lapierre.co.uk site, select RCR 100 from the list for full specs and photos for an idea. It's basically a flat bar compact road bike. Its not designed for racing, more for cruising and commuting.
So spins of 50km or there abouts are perfect and too and from work etc.



Would not recommend it to anyone looking for a bike to get into racing.

This forum seems a lot more specialist and high end stuff and I don't feel I'm likely to get a sale here where as adverts is a lot more general and more likely to return a good amount of interest?
