I'm connected to a poor wifi signal but I hit download all apps in the app store by mistake. There's 27 of them now waiting to update. Can I stop this process? I'm not at home so I'm afraid if I leave and all the apps haven't downloaded they will start downloading over my 3G and use up all of my credit.

Turn on airplane mode. Then wait a second. You should get an error message about not being able to connect to iTunes. Press okay, then turn Airplane mode off. That should cancel them.

Hasn't worked prof. After trying it a couple of times. Turned phone on and off too. Keeps trying to download one particular app that is over 20mb in size. If I disconnect from the wifi then it will eat my credit and data allowance.

tap the icon of the ones to be downloaded and it should pause them until your on a better connection

Did you wait for the error message?

Otherwise, try just tapping on the icons. That should pause the downloads. Whether they'll stay paused is another thing.

EDIT: MacGyver beat me to it.

Tried that too. You can only pause the ones that are actually downloading. You cant do anything with The ones that are waiting.

Edit - went back in and paused them one by one as they came up saying they were loading. Thanks fprnthe help

When you pause the other ones, the ones that are waiting should then start downloading. Then you can pause them as well.

if you pause one, and wait for the next to start then pause that etc, until all are done. or if updated to the newest os you should be able to turn off all data in settings

    DAMNIT now i was beaten
