    Hi All,

Last year foxes killed about 20 % of lambs we had. All lamb outside.

I have a shotgun myself but only use it for grey crows.
Can never get near enough to kill foxes and not big into hunting.

I'm wondering is there any fox hunters here who would be willing to come down and shoot foxes for me.??

    Located in Kenmare Co kerry.

Ewes will be lambing in next few weeks and with the cost of feeding sheep and the recession cant afford to loose lambs!!

Theres a good range of ground there, so would be plety of shooting opportunity.

Let me know if you can help

    Cheers

    Pat

Hi tanco i shoot a lot of foxes this time of year for the same reason. But i would think you would be better of with 2 lads shooting the foxes for you rather than lads every night of the week on the land making them lamp shy . Show them the land in daylight and let them do there work will work out better for you in the long run

    +1

2 good lads is better than 20 bad lads

The 2 boys are master craftsmen ;)

Nice to see someone looking for experienced help with regards to vermin, hopefully we'll be reading about a happy farmer and happy hunters.
This is the type of thing that would educate people who think charlie is all fluffy and cute! Best of luck lads
