i live in Drogheda.. just inside the meath border but now am apparently in the louth electoral area.. thats fine by me... but i got my polling card yesterday which says i have to vote in Mornington which is about 5/6 miles away and on the way there i will pass at LEAST 4 other polling stations...

anyone know who they decide what polling station people have to go to?

Electoral Boundary Commission in conjunction with the county councils I presume. Seems rather odd in your case

It's dopey but what RC parish are you considered to be in?
Often as the polling stations are the RC patroned primary school the who votes at what polling station is done on the parish cachement areas which are as irregular as fúck.
