What did I use?
iWeb + HTML coding + Jquery (Some jQuery was automated like that Slider but the rest was coded) The video player isn't flash it's simply iFrames with simple target= commands. Disqus for the comment box.

I'd use wordpress instead of iWeb with a nice professional theme.

Overall site isn't very well designed, so that gets in the way of actually reading the content.

Overflow

I would have to agree with the above, its not very well designed. The titles for each post on the front page are smaller than the text for the post body. Bold text for the post body makes it very hard to read. Your showing the date twice, in the title and at the start of the post. When you click on a post, the post itself is very unstructured, messy looking and hard to follow. The name of your site in the logo is tiny and hard to read. Thats just the tip of the iceberg.

I've done some modification to it. The top 2 new posts should be a lot more structured.
