^ I love this lol. Reminds me of the little promo/propaganda intro they'd put on DvDs when they first came out to let you know it was "OMG FCKING DVD YEH BABY YEH!" and how amazing it was that you're able to watch it. Some dude in a chair getting his hair blown off and screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAHHHH! at the television. So not hype because it was so over hyped :)

40 quid seems mad steep mind for a tourney lol but sure hey it's good there's another big tourney in Europe. With that kind of prize pot it'll be sure to draw people from over seas.

He's mainly known for Quake. Also had a stint with the Championship Gaming Series in the States where he picked up FIFA. Certainly is the most famous Italian player.

Hopefully the first event runs well and gets plenty of interest! Few good games, incl. SF on show.

As he reaches an age that many gamers "retire" at (21), he is still looking to the future and hoping to stay involved.

    LOL
    Just FYI
    Daigo Umehara is nearly 29.

Key word is "many" though. There are exceptions to every rule - and many gamers do "retire" to focus on "real life" at the ripe old age of 21-25. Fighting game community seems unique in that regard - plenty of older players still competing.

    🤪
