Loose balltop fix?

Hey guys, the balltop on my stick keeps loosening during matches. I know I could use glue but I'm modding the stick and sending away for parts so incase I change the balltop I don't won't to risk wrecking the threads with the glue. Any suggestions?

Open up case.
Put a flat-head screwdriver to the bottom of your joystick's shaft.
Twist the balltop tight.

Done.
