Did anyone catch this? !st episode aired on monday - looking at the heroin problem in Chicago.

Not usually a big fan , but found this both upsetting and highly disturbing as well as insightful to a degree. I have no fear of needles and not the least bit squeamish but this made me want to throw up at times

yea it was very good, the part with the junkie overdosing and the part with the hookers naked were new to me to say the least:eek:

Kind of stuck me after watching it is after what they showed for shock value and to make a good tv show was what did they leave out? I'm sure they saw things far to bad for tv at anytime of night.

Watched it last night and it was excellent, although his stuff usually is anyway. The eyes on that junkie that OD'd and was convulsing on the ground were unsettling, as was the "chop house" with the naked prostitutes and the "chemist". Saying that, the kingpin guy he interviewed near the end sounded very well educated and highlighted exactly how much grip they have over that city, including having some of the police in their pockets.

Congo next week and from the adverts, it looks like it will be another disturbing one.
