    Hi folks,

I finally got my 924 back in ship shape (with thanks to VanhireBoys). I was going to put up some photos, as we always do here. Then I thought I might as well put together a site where anyone could put up photos of ZV cars.

Please don't rush to judge this effort! I've got a lot of the bugs worked out but it's still very much a work in progress (like many of our cars). I'm almost afraid to unleash the boards hordes on my little effort, but if you'd like to try it out the address is:

    http://zvcars.info

There are already a few examples online, just for show. Feel free to register and add some real cars. Please let me know how you get on. You can send suggestions and comments to the address on the site.

    Thanks!

Good idea, but I'd rather see a site of genuine pre-'87 plates.

Well done for the effort but why not just have a pre-1980 site containing all classic cars etc. where owners can upload a couple of photos of the car and a bit of history about the car where previous owners could add to the history of the car too. Also if somebody was trying to trace a car they could put up some details in the hope of finding the car too.

OK. Interest in pre-87 cars noted (nothing stopping you from registering those here too, of course).

Being honest i wouldnt. It would only lead to arguments as to what was real and wasnt.

Too late. I'm putting together a site for all old plates. Arguments welcome!

good luck with the new site. Its a great idea.

You will probably step on a few toes if display other peoples cars though, so tread carefully. Some people (wrongly) regard photos of their cars as their property as well as the car itself

True. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Thousands of classics are already shown in photos here on boards. And motorcheck.ie will tell you the details connected to the reg anyway. But we won't try to make a lawsuit out of it!

Good luck indeed, but as corky says, watch for copyright and that. Already on the ZV site there's ZV0001 and ZV0002, both not ZV plates?

    They are test samples. ;)

have some similar running privately, have a few hundred fords in it, always wondered about making it public. the way i see it is if there is no copyright posted on the photo then no arguement? but maybe you guys could offer some other opinions or even better some law? if i thought I could make it public with no headache I would.

Thats no problem Dave - I was glad to help out after what had happened. I have to say your car is absolutely superb and is a credit to you. Its given me the incentive to get my own back on the road...;)

That site you made up will be a great future resource.. keep up the good work!
