Hair- Blonde want a change

    Hello,

My hair was been blonde for about 9 years and I want something different. I have tried getting blonde and brown highlights and did not like it because my roots were never fully covered with highlights.

I was thinking of maybe going brown but would it be possible to get brown hair without letting the blonde grow out first?

Just wondering before I go to a hairdresser and asking if its possible.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Yeah course you can go brown over blonde.

If your going to the hairdressers they will do it for you no problems.

If your doing it yourself you might need two boxes of colour depending if you are very light blonde and how dark brown you want to go. But if you can afford the hairdressers go to them.

Yeah I went to brown after being blonde for years (back to blonde again now though!).

The hairdresser stripped the blonde from it first, I don't know if they always have to do that. It sounds quite harsh but it turned out a really nice colour and very healthy looking.

You can dye any colour you like over blonde, its just very difficult to go back to blonde.

@Miss lala very surprised to hear they stripped yours, its very harsh on hair and brown would've gone over it no problem. =/
