    Ordered a set of Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs today. (€699 from http://s-tec-essence.eshop.t-online.de )

    They will go under my planet-x pro when the weather improves.

    2 questions:

    1.Have I got value for money?

    2.Will my OH kill me if she finds out how much I spent?

    (I also got some cont GP4000s - €54/pair and a DA-7800 casette and chain for €95 - I might admit the price of these)

    Don't think you could have found them much cheaper so I wouldn't worry about question no. 1. Having just bought a pair of Fulcrum Zeroes, I was faced with a similar domestic dilemma. I started with "I have a confession...". I think a €600 set of wheels was a relief after that.
