hey can anyone tell me, would it be worth buying an octalink chainset? been looking on ebay and they seem to be going cheap compared to other 105 chainsets. Obviously thats for a reason, but what reason? are they basically just becoming obsolete?

They are older and predate Hollowtech II. I have a 105 one on my bike and I have no major issues with it. Only niggly issue is removing them needs an extra tool.
