    Hi
Soon finishing the PGDE . I have two reasonably good subjects French and English . Really considering to get some more teaching subjects. Looking into doing two more years Irish( did first year arts Irish and should have kept it on !) . My question is where can I do a postgrad in SPHE or CSPE part time or full time ( might not get a job anyway !) ? I am aware I'd have to do the subject teaching methods for any extra subject I do. Has anyone done the dip in sphe or cspe either? Also could I attend any of the inservices in cspe or sphe in the education centres anyway?

To be honest you dont need to do a post-grad in either to get hours. Those are, unfortunately, filler subjects given to people with gaps in their timetables.

That said, Waterford IT does a part-time course in SPHE.

Thanks Niall3r. I will look into that course :)
Lets hope I need filler subjects in September so or take me for either of my original subjects ! I'm being optimistic for now.
