Not a great simulation of snow but not the worst either! A good work out really tough on the legs they do 10 min on 10 min off for the time you have booked for that reason.

In case you missed the last one there in another on today...

Before anyone suggests, I have no ties with this place, and as Fattes said its not snow and doesn't feel like snow so I'm out, but just in case anyone else was interested.

Thats not to say it is not worth a visit especially for Beginners, Some great friends and instructors working there.

I did a few lessons here after skiing only once before and it made a massive difference to my skiing. It's not snow, but having someone watching you constantly while you ski and having a mirror in front of you makes up for it. I found real snow to be far more forgiving as well. The downside is the time you get per lesson is quite short, but for €20 it's worth it. Just a pity it can't simulate powder and moguls :)

They have this new deal in there called The Diamond Membership which is €495 which includes gym membership and you can ski as much as you like for a year. Ski centre is open all year round and you can take up to two lessons a day, its really good offer if you think about it considering a normal lesson cost €49 euro and you can take up to two lessons a day and that its open all year round, also you have gym membership aswell. Something to consider i say, more info on website www.skicentre.ie

Ive been a diamond member for a few months and its easily one of the best buys ive made! The instructors are excellent and ensure you progress at a comfortable pace.

My snowboarding has advanced significantly since i joined the Ski Centre. Ive since been on the slopes in France and it really prepares you for the snow; the treadmill doesnt allow for any bad habits or errors, so once you get onto snow you feel far more confident and can really enjoy yourself.:)

Yeah its great for getting rid of bad habits, and even better for pushing yourself as far as you can. When i first skied there, i could only ski for 10 mins without stopping, now i can ski over a hour without stopping :D
