    If someone gets a months work only on contract do you sign off or do welfare have a structure for situation?

    You sign off for the month and then sign back on again.

    You just inform the dole and make sure to say it's just a temp thing. Then when it's done, go back in, say you want to sign on again and it'll be done right away.

    No probably not, the hatch you sign at should just suspend your claim instead of closing it if it will only be a few weeks work - you just go in and inform them when its stop, and they will start paying you again from that date.
