Using Irish Street Names

Has anyone used their "full" street name online, that contained an irish street name, and had no problems in doing so?
The actual street name of my address (which is on Google maps) is Cnocán Aobhinn. It's annoying that sites require street names, so if you don't have a 'proper' one, you have to put the town twice or something. It's like having to put your postcode as 0000 because a post code is required, an inconvenience you shouldn't need to go through.

So anyways, is it safe to use them? Would your item just be left into/kept in the Post Office if there's a problem?

Why would there be a problem using your full address? How else would you get anything delivered?

Well, I meant a full address containing an Irish street name.

And again, why would it be unsafe to use it? It's as safe as the site you're entering the information into.

Use standard characters if using Irish names as a lot of non standard characters will not be regonised and can throw up errors.
