Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice. The inner metal tube of the flue of my gas boiler has corroded and has a huge hole in it. It needs to be replaced and I have been quoted a price of 250 euro, which seems a bit pricey to me. Does anyone kjnow if this is a reasonable price??

Ring the manufactures of the boiler and ask who their part suppliers are then get a quote, also if it were me I'd want to know why it corroded.

If the flue needs to be dropped slightly ,you have to chase out the wall and re-cement the flue. Depending on what model ,there maybe a bit of work at the boiler aswell.
