Citydeal- scam??

    I have been trying to buy a deal here for an hour. It keeps saying this page is unavailable and when I refresh I get this message "Sorry, the deal called by you is already finished, thus the current deal is displayed to you."

    The current deal displayed is the one I am trying to buy! there is still time on it and the number purchased kept increasing from 280 upwards so I figured so many people were trying to get it the site crashed. Then, the number bought changed from 301 to 39.

    Is it actually possible to buy these deals, and are the numbers sold actually real, or is it just a clever scam to have an excuse to advertise different products to you straight to your email?

    I doubt it is a scam, Citydeal/Groupon is quite a well established company.
