alternative to fillings

    hi

    i need to get 4 fillings: have the choice of white fillings at 85 a filling or black at 75. i will be going for the white as i hate the look of those black fillings, i was wondering however is there alternatives to filling, i have heard inlays mentioned but know nothing about them. any body know about things like this and know rough costs? i would like to get the thing that looks the most natural as ive been bad to my teeth over the years

    Inlays, onlays will cost about 400 - 750 a tooth depending on the material they are made from, size and laboratory costs. A good dentist will be able to get a white filling looking nearly as good as a tooth, they wont last as long as an inlay however. You could look for a dentist with a CEREC machine.
