Dental treatment following eating disorder

    Hi there,

I'm looking for some urgent help/advice if anyone can advise at all.
For years I've had a huge fear of dentists and haven't been to one in years. In addition, because I suffered with an eating disorder for years no way would I go. Thankfully I've now beaten the disorder but my teeth are in a bad way as a result. I really need to go to a dentist now as a prominent tooth has fallen out and I'm so conscious of it as it's having a big effect on my smile and my confidence. Although I haven't had the courage to revisit a dentist in years, could anyone recommend a good dentist. I'm located between Dublin 6W & Dub 24 & work in Dub 24 so preference would be on the southside. I'm at a stage where I really want to sort out my teeth and would be more than willing to go even with my fear just to get this sorted. I also pay VHI but don't know if I'd be covered for intensive dental treatment so if anyone can advise on that as well, I'd really appreciate it
    Tks

Well done and good luck whatever you do. If the disease is inactive treatment will work well.
