How do the Demo Days work?

Can you just roll up there and try out a variety of clubs on the day - or is there registration / cost involved?

I'd echo Conno's query about South Dublin, or even Kildare for preference...

Not a central calendar that i know of. Ideally that's what this thread should/could become though. I spotted the above three on the McGuirks website. They run them fairly regularly, but pretty much always at Kinsealy as far as i know. The manufacturers themselves will often have details of upcoming fittings on their own websites, but it means a regular trawl around them. Ranges/golf clubs will often advertise upcoming days on around their premises.

Easiest way is, if anyone spots one advertised somewhere, stick the details in here. Even if you don't fancy it yourself, might be of use to someone else reading it.

Greystones Driving Range have Titleist demo day on March 18th, Ping on March 22nd and the pro there told me they have Taylor Made and Cleveland in April...Hope this helps

Was in Athlone golf academy yesterday evening and see there's a Titleist demo day on the 11th of march and a Taylormade one on the 16th of march.I think ya have to book your place!

Might head in Friday night to have a lash at the ol R11 I imagine they would have a launch monitor? Not that it would be much good to me "ahh thats 6000 rpm clockwise, don't think it can be adjusted that much!" :rolleyes:

These are for fitting of new clubs (iron fitting or wood fitting).

It's booked out btw - phoned earlier today.
