    Hi,
    Have you looked at http://www.franchise-pitstop.ie/.

There's also a franchise expo on in Croke Park. Friday and Saturday, 25th & 26th February 2011. http://www.irishfranchiseassociation.com.

They're mainly for people on the other side of the counter from you but I'm sure there'll be people there who's brains you could pick for openers.

I've no experience of any of the above organisations but I'm sure you can pick up some initial info from both.

    Best of luck.

Try the irish franchsie association they,ll give you na idea of what you will need to do to turn your business into a franchise. It will be a lot of hard work to get from an idea to actually selling your 1st franchise. Manuals, procedures, legal issues etc all need to be sorted before you go ahead.

Don't want to seem a killjoy but if I was purchasing a franchise I would want to see proven examples. I could just steal your idea and go it alone if it stacked up. Why would I purchase a franchise from you and pay you royalties if you have not proven the concept?

Hi Bon ami, i fully intend to establish the concept, i'm sure you would need to do that before it would be consider franchiseable anyway, i'm just curious as like neris said there is a whole lot of red tape, so why not have the homework done while hopefully the business starts thriving, thanks andy some interesting stuff in there
