Valentine's Day is interrupted when Chuck and the team are sent on a mission to England to protect a reclusive young heiress, Vivian McArthur. Meanwhile, Casey gets an offer from the mysterious Jane Bentley. Back at home, Ellie and Awesome find an unlikely solution to a parenting problem, as Morgan ponders a big move.

Lauren Cohan has dropped more hints about her guest role on NBC's Chuck.
The Vampire Diaries star will debut as mysterious socialite Vivian McArthur, rumoured to be the daughter of the villainous Volkoff (Timothy Dalton).
"We don't know her exact connection to the Volkoff empire," Cohan told TV Line. "Chuck and Sarah come to find her... because they suspect her of being linked with Volkoff's corporation. But then they find out she's actually in need of their protection.
"She's kind of a well-educated, bumbling recluse. She's very suspicious of [Chuck and Sarah] and what they want out of her, but then she joins forces with them."
Cohan also claimed that revelations surrounding her character will "discount things that have already been revealed on Chuck".
Discussing her future on the series, she added: "I know I'm on for about five episodes. I'm off for a couple right now, and then I come back. I've heard rumours of some really cool revelations... but again, they're not concrete rumours."

I voted OK, it was an establishing episode...as in new arc for Casey, setting up Volkoff's daughter, heavy on Chuck and beardy dude friend who's name escapes me....ah, Morgan!
It was good to see them explore Chuck/Morgan, their friendship....they are growing up and moving apart.

Nice to see Casey use his sniper skillz, wonder what this new section of Castle is about?....another intersect being made?, i consider this average as it was setting stuff up for later.

Lil Miss Volkoff is a babe! :D Best ep of Chuck in a long time. Also, was it the most violent episode ever? I've never seen so many bloody bullet wounds. (not complaining)

an ok episode, as most have said it was more or less setting it up for the rest of the season,

it will be interesting to see if casey will decide to leave team bartowski, i dunno i just cant see him leading a team, i couldnt imagine him being suave and stuff for infiltrating paties and wooing women, grunts only get ya so far;):D

must say morgan and alex are a couple of freaks, must say im not surprised really, more oddballness please,

funny that only jeffsters singing cant put little awesome to sleep, also anyone thing it weird that chuck has a picture of ellie and awesome outside his bedroom,

Been looking for a pic of this everywhere. I lol'd hard when this happened.

I liked the episode, even if it was more of a set-up story. I like the direction they are taking with the new villian. I'm guessing the rest of the season will be a tug-of-war between the good and bad side of Vivian, which is new to 'Chuck'.

    Also, Lauren Cohan is hotness.

Really enjoyed the episode, was funny, not sure what john casey will see at end of corridor .... ? thing is agent at start of episode said he was best sharpshooter and that his skills could be put to better use,

then at end of episode he is told he'd be staying in berbank.... anyone got ideas about what he will see

I think that volkov;'s daughter will start off where her father ended

Really good episode. My faith is being restored with the last run of eps. That Vivian is truly delicious, I must say. The Casey 5-foot circle shootout was ridiculous but it was nice to have someone point out how underused he's been lately and give him a possible new story, which I hope they use.
