fancy a new AEG and want something a wee bit different, haven't seen too many of them around.

    Pro's
    - Long barrel, tends to be quite accurate.
    - "French" rate of fire, roughly 1000RPM.
    - Compact bullpup design.
    - Reliable gearbox.

    Con's
    - The TM model is reknowned for having very creaky plastic.
    - Proprietary mags (though there is a work around to fit STANAG's)
    - Tricky to get the battery to fit.
    - Unusual positioning of the mag release can snag and even accidentally release the magazine.

Overall the TM FAMAS has a great reputation - especially since its one of the oldest AEG designs knocking around. Its got its faults but most of us who have one view those as part of its "charm".

... and the rate of fire will give you a big grin.
