I tried to book some internal flights on Air Asia's website last night. Each time I went to finish the booking I got a message that my credit card was rejected. There is definately funds there so Im not sure why the card would not work. I used the card last week on the accomodation part of their website to book a hotel in Koh Samui and that went through fine.

Has anybody here tried to book flights on the website lately and run into problems?

Give your credit card provider a call just to check everything is as it should be.

Booked a few flights with them some time ago and all was fine.

I booked flights on their website in Oct 2009 and had no problems.

I went back onto the site and was able to book one flight (Surat Thani - Bangkok). I tried to book Bangkok - Surat Thani but each time I try to complete the booking process I get a message saying that the booking is pending? I will wait a few hours and see what happens.

I was wary of the site as last week I got a fantastic deal on the site for a hotel in Koh Samui for 8 nights in September. Worked out at €8 a night for a room in a hotel with breakfast. The hotel looks pretty good http://samuicliffview.com but I was suspicious that I got the room so cheaply. I figured I would book the room anyway and the worst that can happen is that they will get back in contact to say there was a mistake on their website. The same hotel is around €50 a night on other sites.

I got a confirmation email from them though when I paid and a voucher I have to print off and bring with me to the hotel that states the room is fully paid for. The same hotel room on the same site today is almost €70 a night.
