Concern for young child...HELP??

    Hi im looking for advice really as i dont know what to do,basically a friend of mine told me on sunday night that he has concerns about his neighbours young child about 1 year old.The girl lives alone with this child and from about 8pm every night he hears her shouting at the child and the child screaming crying:(my friend voiced his concerns with another neighbour and the neighbour told him that the family is not one to mess with and to leave well enough alone.The childs mother doesnt leave the house her parents bring food supplies etc....I cant stop thinking about this poor child in case he is being abused hes only a baby :mad:Can anybody tell me if i can report it anon and who do i report it to...im so worrried as is my friend about this baby..please can you give me some advice...mods sorry if this is the wrong forum plz move if you need to

    You can make a report to social workers if you feel the child is at risk. Contact your local health clinic and request a word/meeting with the social worker on duty.
