Whenever i log in, be it on the old launcher, the new launcher, or even through a browser, it just goes black and nothing happens

I can login in-browser if I want but the app doesn't seem to want to work anymore.

works finw for me lads. just tested, it keeps all textures too. woot!

* Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)
* Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button
* Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning
* Added three new half-size blocks
* Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks
* Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist <cmd>” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add <player>”, “remove <player>”, “list” or “reload”
* New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)
* It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves
* Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen
* Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors
* .. and a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks!

Yep, as I said in the other thread. Servers need to be updated. Will be down for the time being

if you want to play offline your worlds will have to be converted to another thingy. not too sure what it is.

We have to wait until the plugins are updated (which should be soon today), or disable them altogether.

Quick update:

Server needs to be download, converted, reuploaded. Will take about 2 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience (well I'm not really, blame Notch :P)

By that point the plugins should have been updated by then too (plugins get updated several times a day normally)

Ok lads ive found the bed.
i think someone asked for pictures but i cant remember

Crafting the bed, 3 wood planks, 3 wool

And when its night time you can right click the bed get in, screen fades black and then you wake up in day time.

Theres also a wooden half block made of 3 planks ( like the stone half block) but oddly enough when you break it it has the stone breaking pattern i.e. grey squares flying out not wooden

There's a cobblestone half-block, the usual half block now has to be made from proper stone, and I think there's also a sandstone half block.

Right servers converted. Crazy, was over 17k files, and with this update it's only 109 files in size! We can do daily cartos again woo!

Now we get delays and repeaters

On the plus side a more automated train track with switchovers etc is very doable (though the slowdown bit is still tricky).

Do the train boosters still work or have they been 'fixed' in the update?
