Wells lads Im looking for a cheap .22lr at the moment and Id like your suggestions. Are savage any good in .22lr. €200-€300 max on the rifle alone as I have a scope. Thanks

Try Duffy's in Galway.
They have an old style rifle (second hand) and they are around €300

I like a rifle with a nice bolt action if ya know wat I mean. Are they accurate rifles Savage.

No its not a CZ but it is based on the CZ action. I can't remember what make it was. Just give them a call and they will tell you all about it.

Might be a long shot but you could give Pat Cooke in Hilltop SG a shout. I traded my Savage MkII BV with him around a year ago, he might still have it.
A super accurate little rifle but I fancied a change.
