Hi, I just dropped out of 2nd year Computer Science on account of it being so god damned hard :(

I was on BTEA and am over 25.

    Am I entitled to JA?
What extra paperwork will I need from college?
What is the best tack to take with them? Drop-out? Failure?.....Mental Illness!?!?

Yeah as far as I know you are entitled to JA. Just pop down to the local dole office and sign on. You'll need a letter from your college saying when you left the course, the academic registry or admissions should be able to give you one. Best tack to take? That's upto you, if you do have a mental illness, depression etc etc then say that to them and ask whether you should apply for Disability Allowance, if you really don't have any such problems then simply tell them the course was too hard and you left.
