so ive been in the place for about 6 months. the contract i signed doesnt state a length of stay. i want to leave. im dealing with an agency. if i give them a months notice do i have to fill my room myself when i leave or is it their responsibility? the contract makes no stipulation about me filling the room but the person i rented from said i would have to fill it once i left.

If it's not in the contract you shouldn't have to do anything!

Always give notice regardless, it really saves a lot of problems.
