Car wont start

    Hi

    Have a 99 punto....Was stopped at pavement passenger got it...started to reverse before realising passenger door was still wide open. The door was pushed back slightly by a pole. Stopped car and moved slightly forward but car cut out as this was happening and wouldn't restart. The lights come on when ignition is turned but wont rev and cuts out nearly straight away. Passenger door will close but is not flush anymore. Had to lock it up and leave it as we had to be somewhere and will have someone looking at it later on tonight ...Any ideas what could have happened? Would the door been pushed back pulled/damaged wires ??

    Any info appreciated...trying to figure out what could be wrong so as to guesstimate fixing costs !

    the button is right beside the passenger front seat on the inner edge of the sill :)
