    Just reading in the IT that NIR will have 40meg d/l in 2012!! Wow will that have any impact here? It will put us firmly in the back seat unless someone gets on the move

    UPC offer 100Mbps here right now. What network is this 40Mbps on then, and how widespread will it be?

    UPC is not widely available, more the pity because if it was no eircom no VF would be bliss.

    BT are putting in 2400 fibre cabinets so it will cover 88% of pop.

    yea doh most of them won't ever get 40mb since it up to 40mb but there upload on the other hand will blow us away since there upload they seem to get very close to 10mb on there VDSL +2 lines
