    Hi everyone,

I am developing a course with a few colleagues, to offer a practical and functional one or two day intensive course on bar tending, and the hospitality industry. Primarily aimed at people who are looking to enter the trade such as students, or people looking to upskill

The bar trade has high labour usage and can have a high turnover rate

Over 6/7 hours, with lunch included in a central Dublin city bar.

The price will include all lunch, insurance, and stock used, but we cannot find a way to agree on the price.

How do I find out what consumers would pay for the course?

    Thanks for all replies.

If I were you I'd get in contact with FAS and see if they'll fund it.

Is this course accredited? If not then look at your local community school, they tend to do night courses running for 8 weeks at a cost of €10 per night/hour, you could work it that way.

If it is going to be accredited by Fás or an Bord Fáilte or something then you could probably charge anything up to €250 for the day.
