Problem with my mag?

Hi guys newb here with a problem. I have a KJ sig 226 (Full Metal) that I was given for Christmas, I dont really know anything about airsoft and lately my gun's been misbehaving.

For the past few weeks there's been a hissing noise from the mag when I put in gas and when I shoot all the gas is expelled at once. I've read that this gun is particularly affected by cold weather could this be the problem or is it something more serious?

    Thanks for any replies

If you hear the hissing while filling the mag, then it appears you have a leaky valve :(.

Try a little shot of silicon spray on the valves.

Thanks Johnny, where exactly are the valves? Is it the small brass ring where I put the gas in? Is a leaky valkve something I could fix myself or will it have to be replaced/fixed by a proffessional?

If it was only bought at Christmas, it could still be under warranty where it was purchased - might be worth pursuing it that way first. If not, then it may be a simple fix...depending on where it's leaking from

Where is the leak coming from, the top or the bottom? If you are unsure where it's coming from, putting the mag in a basin of water will show you were the leak is.
