Display drivers for LCD tv

I have a home build htpc under my Philips LCD 37" with a ATI passive graphics card with HDMI out. The problem that I am having is that the output from the pc does not cover the full screen. There is about an inch of blank screen around the pc output. I think that this relates to the display drivers (using win 7 64bit) being generic. I had the same problem with the pc when running vista home premium with the latest drivers from the ati site.

Can somebody point me in the right direction to resolve this. It's a pain in the a### watching movies in hd via the blue ray and not filling the screen. I searched for Philips drives but I couldn't find any. My video drivers were updated via windows update .

    All advice much appreciated

    Cionn
