    Always thought some of those "victims" were a bit on the thick side, to be honest.

    I dont mean to come off as a know it all :P

    But did people not really know they were using actors? .. that disclaimer at the start of the show, "we dont use actors, these people are real" - is just tv BS.

    Judge Judy is no longer a judge. Two people agree to appear on the show and sign a form that allows Judy's decison to be legal in any court. even tho its not a court, just a set and nor is she still a judge. All the people in the court are paid extras aswell.

    so can anyone say fake?

    Agreed, god help me if she ever comes to my door selling something because even though i know she is well up on scamming, i would still do anything and i mean ANYTHING to get into her knickers :)

    Of course these people would have been aware of the scamming. The company had to set up a number of hidden cameras in one location. Were they going to hope that a potential scam was possible? They had to plan it.

    Besides, the main reason for the show is to highlight scams which are going on. They shouldn't necessarily have to do it to unsuspecting victims. The show is there to educate us.
