    Hi Guys,

I am looking for replacement of the crankset with Sram Red BB30 53/39 cranks. However I also found a nice Cannondale SI Carbon BB30, which may work as well as the Sram. The rest of the components are Sram Rival.

Would you have any experience with any of these two cranksets? Which one is higher class and stiffer?

    Thanks.

Not sure about the cannondale, but i've heard that sram chainset wear quicker than most, dont have personal experience though.

I have the Cannondale cranks and BB with rotor rings. I've never used Sram. I find the Cannondale superbly stiff and vie had no servicing or reliability issues.

Thanks for your replies. Regarding the Cannondale - is it the Carbon one - like this one?:

I have this one, Sram Red BB30 Cannondale decals, got it last year and didn’t get around to fitting it yet but its a compact (50 34 tooth rings) and 175mm cranks,
After some time on the bike I’m kinda happy enough with the FSA one fitted,

Nice one, I didn't know there is a Cannondale branded one. I am actually thinking about that Sram cranks, just in a different size (53T/39T, 170mm) and the yellow colour, like this one:

Thanks, I am looking there as well ;). Not easy to find the LE yellow version though.
Did you replace your crankset yourself?

I have it almost a year now, took it out of it's box today only to post that picture here, I just might take it into Cycleways tomorrow and get it fitted for the weekend as I have a long spin on.
