*edit* battery life - not 'batty' life. lol
Is there anywhere out there that can use jiggery pokery to extend the life of a battery? I've had mine 5 years now and I play twice a week winter and summer so to be honest the battery has had a good life. It's still grand for about 16 holes and then starts to slow down. I'll be getting wd40 on the wheels and lightening the load of the bag, but I hink I have heard of places you can bring your dying battery to and they will do something to it so that it will keep power better.
I would rather pay to extend a batter life than have to discard it and buy a new one.

    Any ideas?

    Yours in wonderment,
    GSH.

At twice a week over five years, I reckon you've surpassed the normal service life. What do your reckon it would cost you for any jiggery pokery if it was available, I guess 30-40 euro plus travel/delivery 10-15 euro. Gains maybe 20-30% life. All for half the cost of a new battery?

Makey up figures, but an educated guess!;)

Ya, I reckon you're right. I was thinking of the environment. If the battery got back from 16 holes to 24 holes then it would more than be enough. I dont' like the thought of getting rid of a battery that still works fine for 16 or so holes.
I guess it could make a good spare. I was just hoping that there was a quick easy fix out there
    Yours etc,

If you had one of those half size ones you could just use two "half dead" ones...
