    Hey guys, I ws wondering what you people think about a budget for a new car..

    I am gonna be getting a car in a few weeks (my very first car) I am just looking for somthing that drives really, I don't need anything fancy.. I want a little micra or even a golf (depends on insurace quote)

    I was thinking of setting myself a budget of 1200 to 1500. Anyone think i'd get a good car for that price these days...

    Absolutely, if you're patient. I'd sooner a Fiesta than a Golf if I were you.

    Hi mate, I am mad about cars lol but because i am so young the car insurance is gonna cost twice wat the car is worth which is why i want a handy little starter car.

    I was looking through gumtree and done deal, there are a couple of good bargains on them sites but would i be better off buying from a dealership?
