    Radio channel on 4.8E, 12073.00H, 27500, 3/4.

    Broadcasting in AAC-HE, a quick and dirty Saorsat/Saorview compatibility test.

    That's if RTE ever use AAC. I hope they do soon, the sound quality on Choice & 1 Extra is atrocious atm.

    AAC won't help quality if they keep quality the same and use it to 1/2 the bitrate.

    True enough, I suppose I'm presuming they'll keep the bitrate the same. Possibly hopefully.

    Did you try any receivers on the Test-AAC channel?
