    It means they are "bumping" or moving their thread up in the list of threads, by creating a new post :)

    Bump is something that is written to add a comment to a thread, and by doing so, push that thread to the top of the "thread list" on Page One of the forum.

    By commenting on a thread, it pops up to the top of page one. This indicates its a popular thread. People will "bump" a thread in an effort to get people to notice it on the first few pages.
