Will i get a mortgage?

    Hi all, myself and my wife are hoping to get a mortgage around this time next year, we're just finishing paying our debts and hope to start saving €1500 each month for about 12 months which should gives us around €18k plus we have around €4k Credit Union savings.
    I earn €46,500 p/a and work for a semi-state company and my wife is a stay at home mother.
    We are hoping to get a mortgage of around 180k.

    Is there anyone in similar circumstances out there that have been approved?

    10pc deposit plus 4k fees and stamp duty - check
    Married - check
    4 x your salary - check
    Some credit history - check

    You have a good shot a getting a 180k mortgage. You may even be able to afford it.
