hairband in loo

    A childs narrow hair band*that is used to tie up pony tails fell down toilet and toilet was flushed. Will it cause a problem? Is there anything can be put down to disolve it or how can it be got up

    Don't worry about it. It will show itself if it jams in the system, eventually.

    It could just as easily travel into the main sewer and be gone forever.

    It may, but you would notice it. It just won't suddenly happen.

    i just noticed there is no bend in the loo i though it might get caught in bend but no bend

    Highly unlikely to cause any problems. Fill the bath and leave it off when fairly full. This will wash anything in the drains into the main sewer. Job Done.

    Not worrying about it. Its as simple as this, it'll either clog or it wont. Chances are it wont' and if it does, you'll know about it so no point in worrying.

    You'll be very unlucky if it does block, my little chaps would regually empty the complete contents of a toilet roll without me having to get my hands dirty. :p

    That was long gone and water in a 1.1/2" bath pipe is going to contribute nothing to the 4" soil pipe except a breeze...
